Sylvester the Sandworm

My set piece/ prop for induction into the International Thespian Society, lovingly named Sylvester, a sandworm from Beetlejuice the Musical. The base was entirely made of recycled materials like cardboard and newspaper. The "skin" was made with black curtains and white sheets and stapled onto around the lips. The jaw is meant to open and reveal a person, like Beetlejuice, but there is enough space for up to 8 people. The wooden base has an opening for the person to crawl through and is on wheels for easy and fast movement. The head is detachable from the wooden neck base for disassembly and moving locations.
